Progress Book Correction!!

We have been getting reports of some issues with parents getting their new ProgressBook accounts set up.   The issue was caused by incorrect information I sent to you in the parent letter.  If you used the address listed in the letter, which was HTTPS://parentaccess.noacsc.org/district/AP, that was incorrect.  The correct address is, HTTPS://parentaccess.noacsc.org/district/cr.   The first one takes you to Apollo Joint Vocational School!   If you use the school web page and click on Parents then Grade Book Access, it will take you to the correct address, or cut and past the correct address into your browser.  

 

My sincere apologies to everyone for whom this has caused problems and frustration!   My thanks to one district parent who stumbled across the solution this evening as we worked to try and locate the problem!!  Mr. Willeke

 

Food Pantry

Good Shepherd UMC is hosting a Mobile Food Pantry with over 10,000 pounds of free food, September 21, 2013 at Good Shepherd UMC, 119 W. Main Street, Benton Ridge, Ohio, 45816, from 9:30 am until the food runs out.  All who have a need are welcome.  A representative from each family must be present to receive food.  One person will not be able to receive food for multiple families.  Questions, call 419-859-1234.

 

Student Council Seeking Convertibles and Dance Chaperones

Athletic Games Updates:

Boys Soccer game at Tiffin-Calvert will be played on Monday September 23rd 5 PM. The location for this game is Frost-Kalnow Stadium beside Tiffin Columbian HS

 

School Pictures:

Students in grades K-12 will have school pictures by LIFETOUCH taken on September 16 during the school day.  Look for picture order forms to come home prior to the 16th.   Students must have the order form and payment with them before getting their picure taken.  More information on ordering on-line and other options will be provided to parents.   Seniors will also have their picture taken for the Senior Composite.  Specific information related to these pictures has been provided to the Seniors.

 

All-Sports Passes
Cory-Rawson All-Sports Passes are now available in the HS/EL office during regular school hours. Cost of passes are: Family- $225, Adult- $80, Sr. Citizen- $25 & Student- $55
Passes will be available until Friday September 6.

 

Football Fills Open Slot in Schedule

Cory-Rawson and Fostoria St. Wendelin have agreed to a Week 10 varsity football game for 2013.  This replaces the open date on Cory-Rawsonís schedule that was created when Hardin-Northern cancelled their season in late June. The game will be played at Cory-Rawson High School on Friday, November 1 at 7 PM.

Required Vaccinations for 7th Grade Children
It is once again time to start thinking about vaccinating your children for the upcoming school year. Any child entering kindergarten or 7th grade will need vaccine updates prior to the start of the 2012-2013 school year to be in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code guidelines. Tdap is now required for the students entering the 7th. Along with the Tdap vaccine we would encourage you to consider the meningitis and chickenpox dose 2 vaccines for any child age 11 through 18. We continue to be concerned about the resurgence of pertussis (whooping cough) which is the reason for the Tdap requirement. These vaccines are available at most physicianís offices or here at the Hancock County Health Department. If you are interested in scheduling for vaccinations at our office please call 419-424-7869. I would strongly encourage you to call and get these scheduled now. Please donít wait until August to get this taken care of.
